Photo Feature – White Rann: The colourful land of salt

Amongst the many beautiful sunsets that I captured in Gujarat, the one I saw in the wide expanse of Kutch, has to be the most beautiful. Shared below is my journey into the White Rann leading up to the sunset, its many hues and how it captured me.

We hopped onto a double decker bus, and headed to the endless expanse of salt that awaited our arrival

 As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the local camel herders, their leggy mates and some horses too; we were also accompanied by some humans

As soon as we got off our camel cart, loud chatter hit our ears, only to be cut off by the majestic sun slowly making its way home

 There was so much see – The petite specs of sand

I have seen many a sunset – I sometimes feel like a sunset-catcher – but this one, was in a league of its own
