The Poly Kids School Rishikesh Welcomes Spring

Untitled-2The Poly Kids school Rishikesh observed  Basant Panchami on February 4th, the children took part in Saraswati Vandana and sang rhymes on the spring season. They were explained the concept of seasons with the help of a PowerPoint presentation. The children were all dressed in yellow outfits, as per the theme of the occasion. They were served yellow peas pulao and given sweets to mark the occasion. Earlier, Feb 1, the day of Basant Panchami was a holiday. The Poly Kids school celebrates all the various festivals in the calendar year with its students on campus to help build their social awareness. The students learn about community living, sharing and caring for one another whilst understanding the importance of these celebrations.
