Year of the sequels: Some of the most awaited sequels will hit the screens in 2017

pg-20-sequels-1If you liked the first one, you are definitely going to love the sequel, or is it so? However, directors seem to be banking on the formula to be true. A string of sequels will hit the screens this year, including some long awaited movies. While, some production houses want to bank on the formula, the others have got their hands on a script to take the narration forward. There are still some that are just relying to cash in on the name.

Love’em or hate’em sequels will be the flavour of the season in 2017!

Here is a list for you to get your head around:
judwaa-2cover-and-fb-_-source_-youtube-com_tiger-zinda-hai1Bahubali 2 – The Conclusion (finally to reveal why Katappa did what he did), Naam Shabana (a prequel to the Akshay Kumar starrer Baby), Judwa 2 (starring Varun Dhawan), Dabangg 3 (yes, Chulbul Pandey will be at a theatre near you one more time), Jolly LLB 2 (this time starring Annu Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi), 2.0 (hard to miss the hype around this one made with a budget of Rs 4 billion, especially since it will have a showdown between Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar), Sarkar 3 (directed by Ram Gopal Varma starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee and Yami Gautam) and others in the pipeline for this year include Fukrey 2, ABCD 3, Commando 2, Hate Story 4, Aankhen 2, Golmaal Again and Tiger Zinda Hai (starring Salman Khan).
