Politics involves several activities geared toward improving the socioeconomic circumstances of a population in a particular area or region by developing or implementing policy changes and governance. Politicians hold government offices or influence policy and legal changes through other means to improve people’s social, academic, medical, political, and economic conditions. The primary objective of politicians is to achieve and maintain political power by introducing and implementing measures that appeal to the masses due to their positive effects on welfare and well-being.
